Joeby Slight is a local artist from Wells, who enjoys painting dramatic landscapes. Unfortunately his exhibition in the Meeting Room was postponed due to the COVID-19 lockdown.  

 

This virtual exhibition showcases his series of mountain and wilderness landscapes. Joeby's expressive use of oil paint on canvas gives him the freedom to create scenes full of movement. Many of his paintings make bold use of colour with an almost Fauvist character to them.
