Wells & Mendip Museum is a self-funding independent charity, and we rely on the generosity of donors to keep the museum running.
Donations can be made by cheque ("Wells Museum") or bank transfer (please contact us).
Another way to support us is by becoming a Friend of Wells & Mendip Museum.
You may also donate at the museum itself. You will find our donation box at the museum shop.
Other Ways to Support
Support the museum through AmazonSmile
You can support us with every purchase using AmazonSmile. Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price of your purchases to the museum if you select “The Wells Museum” on AmazonSmile. There is no extra cost to you.
If you shop on your computer, just make your purchases as usual, but through smile.amazon.com
You will be asked to select the charity of your choice - select “The Wells Museum” from the list.
If you shop on your phone, select AmazonSmile in the Amazon shopping app (on iPhones and Android phones). Follow these instructions to turn on AmazonSmile and start generating donations!
1. Open the Amazon Shopping app on your device
2. Go into the main menu of the Amazon Shopping app and tap into 'Settings'
3. Tap 'AmazonSmile' and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process

Support the museum by recycling your inkjet cartridges
Simply register with Recycle4Charity.co.uk and request Freepost bags. For each usable cartridge, £1 will be donated to the museum. Alternatively, just drop your items off at the museum and we will send them.
