Make a Donation
Wells & Mendip Museum is a self-funding independent charity, and we rely on the generosity of donors to keep the museum running.
If you wish to make a direct donation you may do so through Virgin Money Giving by clicking on the red button below. Donations can also be made by cheque ("Wells Museum") or bank transfer (please contact us).
Another way to support us is by becoming a Friend of Wells & Mendip Museum.
You may also donate at the museum itself. You will find our donation box at the museum shop.
Volunteers fulfil many roles in the museum, including front-of-house, curatorial, archives, library development, gardening, and maintenance.
Vacancies for these roles occur frequently, especially for the front-of-house. Please email our Volunteer Coordinator to check if there are vacancies, to register your interest, or for full role descriptions. Alternatively, drop into the museum and have a chat with one of our volunteers who will be able to give you an application form.
